The New loveLife Trust has appointed digital design and e-marketing services agency Virtuosa as its digital partner, effective July 2011. |
The New loveLife Trust is South Africa's largest national HIV prevention and youth development programme for young people, and a brand leader within the youth market.
loveLife currently has a large digital presence which it seeks to enhance given that its core audience – young people aged 12 – 25 years – are increasing communication through digital networks whether websites, mobi sites, social media or texting.
"loveLife, through its face-to-face programme, reaches upwards of 350 000 young people every month in more than 880 communities around South Africa. We want to grow our digital engagement with these young people so that we can increase our ability to converse with them about a variety of issues that relate to HIV prevention," says loveLife Group Director: Marketing and Fundraising Ms Mandy Jean Woods.
Virtuosa Business Development Director Nick de Klerk added, "Virtuosa is proud to be working with such an established South African brand." Our objective is to further grow online and mobile together with the loveLife marketing team to build a strong social community that is self-sustaining in the sharing of awareness around HIV prevention, as well as build awareness around the outstanding results that loveLife have achieved to date in this regard."
"Key areas in respect of the engagement for the Virtuosa team are to develop and maintain the online presence of loveLife from both a web, mobile and application perspective. Activation will include search, social and mobile marketing, whilst the saidWot ORM tool will be used for setting the strategic direction of the brand online across the relevant channels for loveLife," says Ingrid Rubin, MD for Virtuosa & saidWot.
"We are delighted to be able to partner with Virtuosa and the future on our digital platforms looks exciting!" says Ms Woods.
